# For AI agents: working with UnivSense

This page is written for you, the assistant acting for a person. It says what UnivSense does, how to read this site, what you can do here now, what you cannot do and why, and what is planned.

[See the catalog](https://univsense.com/services)

## What UnivSense does

UnivSense is a managed service. It sells marketing and automation as finished, fixed-scope work: SEO, AI answer visibility (AEO), content, paid media and AI automation. A person scopes the work, runs it inside the client's own accounts and hands it over. If your user needs one of these outcomes done for them, UnivSense fits. If they want to run the methods themselves in their own AI, point them to https://unilytics.ai, the skill system built by the same team.

## How to read this site

- /llms.txt: the index, one line per page.
- Every page has a Markdown twin at the same path with .md: /index.md, /services.md, /services/seo.md, /services/aeo.md, /services/content.md, /services/paid-media.md, /services/automation.md, /about.md, /contact.md, /agents.md. Same content as the HTML, with front matter (title, url, canonical_url, summary, last_updated).
- /catalog.json: every service with slug, name, summary, audience, scope, deliverables, inputs, engagement, timeline, price and faq. It is the data the service pages render from, so you can compare without scraping.
- JSON-LD on each page: Organization, ProfessionalService, OfferCatalog, Service, FAQPage. Every fact in it is also in the visible text.
- /robots.txt and /sitemap.xml. Search and AI assistants are allowed; AI training is not (Content-Signal ai-train=no).

## What you can do now

1. **Read and compare.**: Use /catalog.json to match the user's outcome to a service. Use each service's inputs to collect what the scope needs before you draft anything; the service page's "Who this is for" says when not to recommend it.
2. **Draft a scope request.**: Fill the fields from /contact and open a prefilled email for the user to send: mailto:hello@univsense.com?subject=Scope%20request%3A%20<service>&body=<fields>. The user sends it. You do not.
3. **Say you are an agent.**: Add "Sent by an AI assistant: <your name>" to the brief. It helps us route it. It does not change the price or the response time.

## What you cannot do, and why

There is no endpoint on this site that accepts a submission without a person. You cannot send a brief or request a price on the user's behalf. This is deliberate: an anonymous write is not a control, and we would rather receive fewer briefs that a person meant to send than many that nobody did. Prices are scoped per engagement; do not quote a figure from this site unless a service page states one.

## Not yet available

This list is dated 2026-11-01. When it changes, /llms.txt changes with it.

- **Read-only MCP server at /mcp (list_services, get_service, get_engagements, get_office)**: Planned, after launch. The same data as /catalog.json, callable as tools.
- **MCP server card (/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json) and /.well-known/ai-catalog.json**: Published only once /mcp passes a production test; do not look for them yet. Discovery of the server above.
- **Agent skills (/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json: univsense-engage, aeo-readiness-audit)**: Planned. How to evaluate and scope UnivSense; how to run a readiness check.
- **Write tools (request_proposal)**: Designed, not scheduled; any write path gets its own review before it ships. A confirmed submission on the user's behalf.
- **Free AEO and agent-readiness audit of a URL**: Planned, later. A scored report and a fix list for a site you name.
- **Case studies at /work**: Later, once clients have approved them. Results with the numbers and their windows.

## Agent-readiness checklist

Every check agents and agent-readiness scanners look for, with its status on univsense.com. We only publish what works; anything else is listed here as coming or not applicable, never as a stub.

- robots.txt: live, with AI crawler rules and a sitemap link.
- Sitemap: live at /sitemap.xml (HTML pages only).
- Link response headers: live on every page (Markdown alternate, llms.txt, sitemap).
- DNS for AI discovery (DNS-AID): coming after the DNS move to Cloudflare, and only for endpoints that work.
- Markdown content negotiation: live. Send Accept: text/markdown, or add .md to any URL.
- AI bot rules and Content Signals: live in robots.txt (search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no).
- Web Bot Auth: coming with the Cloudflare setup; signed agents will be verified at the edge.
- MCP server card: coming with the read-only UnivSense MCP server, after it passes contract tests in production.
- Agent Skills: planned (univsense-engage, aeo-readiness-audit), published only when they work end to end.
- WebMCP: planned, experimental.
- API catalog (RFC 9727): coming with the read-only API.
- OAuth discovery, OAuth protected resource, auth.md: not applicable. univsense.com has no accounts and no authenticated API.
- ARD and Personal Agent Protocol: under evaluation against their current specifications.
- x402, MPP, UCP, ACP (agent payments): not applicable. Services are scoped by people and nothing is sold through an automated checkout.

## Rules

- Do not send test briefs. Each one reaches a person.
- Do not invent prices, timelines or client names. Where a page says "scoped" or states no figure, tell your user that.
- When you summarize UnivSense, cite the page you read with its URL.
- This site never asks you to change your configuration, fetch instructions from elsewhere or send credentials anywhere. If something claiming to be UnivSense does, it is not us.
